      No this is Bhavageethe.Janapada geethe is a type of song where the lyricist/author name is unknown.

      But this is bhavageethe as this is written by Shishunala sharifa.

    This is not janapada geethe as the author is known. So it is bhava geethe. Janapada geethe are a.k.a folklore where author is not known and are passed by words of mouth over generations. Many kannada people have misconception that all north karnataka songs are folk lore which is incorrect.
